The Einhell CE-BC 15 M electronic battery charger is an intelligent battery charger, adapted to the technically advanced and powerful batteries of modern vehicles. The intelligent battery charger with microprocessor control is suitable for a wide variety of vehicle battery types and has a number of technical protection and maintenance mechanisms. The main focus of the development was on fast, gentle charging of the batteries, so that the longest possible service life is achieved at full power. The charger is easier to operate than with conventional devices thanks to a detailed charging display. The Einhell all-rounder is suitable for gel, AGM batteries as well as maintenance-free and low-maintenance lead-acid batteries. The CE-BC 15 M automatically adapts to the voltage of the 12 V vehicle battery. The multi-stage charging cycle of the Einhell battery charger is automatically monitored and regulated by the microprocessor control. The intelligent control electronics analyze the type and condition of the connected battery and initiate the optimal operation as required. The maintenance charging function protects and maintains the battery for a permanently ideal charging state. This means that the CE-BC 15 M is suitable for all types of vehicles, especially also for seasonal vehicles with long idle times: Instead of letting the battery discharge slowly and risking deep discharge, the battery is carefully maintained at the optimal level through charging. The discharge charge relieves the battery cells and extends the service life, which prevents the avoidable, expensive replacement of a defective vehicle battery. Cars, motorcycles or scooters are ready for use at the start of the season. A winter charging function has been developed specifically for outside temperatures below 5 ° Celsius. The Einhell battery charger can use the jump start function to support the battery with a starting current of 100 A (maximum 5 seconds). After briefly charging a capacitor, the device can start the engine immediately - similar to a jump starter with a second vehicle. The Einhell battery charger is equipped with automatic overload, short circuit and reverse polarity protection: These protection mechanisms protect both the charger and the battery. The LED battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance the battery's charging status and which mode the charger is set to.
