The Einhell CE-BC 4 M battery charger is an intelligent battery charger, adapted to the technically sophisticated and powerful batteries of modern motor vehicles. The intelligent battery charger with microprocessor control is suitable for a wide range of vehicle battery types and has a number of technical protection and maintenance mechanisms. The main focus of the development is the fast, gentle charging of the batteries, so that the longest possible service life is achieved at full power. The charger is easier to operate thanks to a detailed charging display compared to conventional devices. The Einhell all-rounder is suitable for gel, AGM and maintenance-free and low-maintenance lead-acid batteries. The CE-BC 4 M automatically adapts to the voltage of the 12 V vehicle battery. The multi-stage charging cycle of the Einhell battery charger is automatically monitored and regulated by the microprocessor control. The intelligent control electronics analyze the type and condition of the connected battery and initiate the optimal operation as required. The triple protection charging function protects and preserves the battery for a permanently ideal charging state. The CE-BC 4 M is therefore suitable for all vehicle types, especially also for seasonal vehicles with long idle times: instead of slowly draining the battery completely and risking deep discharge, the battery is gently maintained at its optimal level by charging. The discharge charge relieves the load on the battery cells and extends the service life, thus preventing an avoidable, expensive replacement of a defective vehicle battery. Cars, motorcycles or scooters are immediately ready for use at the start of the season. A winter charge has been developed specifically for outside temperatures below 5 ° Celsius. In addition, the device is equipped with a recovery mode, which can breathe new life into deeply discharged batteries, and a power supply function for use as a power supply. Automatic protection against overcharging, short circuit and reverse polarity protects both the charger and the battery. The Einhell battery charger complies with protection class IP 65, making it waterproof and protected against jets of water. The LCD battery voltage and charging progress display shows at a glance the battery's charge status and the mode to which the charger is set. The device differentiates between four charging levels and 12 volt batteries. The display of the Einhell battery charger also indicates incorrect connection of the clamps and immediately draws the user's attention to any problems.
